Rob Ewert, Principal

Rob Ewert is a seasoned real estate professional with broad experience in brokerage, development, construction, and investing. Rob began his career at the renowned architectural firm of Gensler & Associates in San Francisco, California, and soon after relocating to Honolulu in 1987, Mr. Ewert became a licensed architect in the state of Hawaii and also a member of the prestigious American Institute of Architects (AIA). Mr. Ewert was a founding member of Alexander & Ewert (1988) and started Ewert & Company, a successful commercial development and brokerage company in 1994, Rob has completed more than $200M in transactions on behalf of his clients over the past two decades.

Rob holds a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, is a Principal Broker in the State of Hawaii, and has been a guest speaker for the Association for Commercial Real Estate and for the Certified Commercial Investment Members and NAIOP. He has written and been interviewed for articles on the subject of Commercial and Investment Real Estate and Development in the State of Hawaii and the U.S. mainland.

Mr. Ewert holds a BA in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley.

Robert E. Chapman, Principal

Bob Chapman has over two decades of experience in successful commercial real estate investments. After graduating from The Johns Hopkins University and University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland, Bob relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1980. Bob held legal and senior management positions in a publicly traded international energy corporation before entering private law practice in Honolulu in 1985. Over the past twenty five years, Bob has developed extensive experience in real estate transactions, financing, leasing and operations for retail, industrial, office and commercial property investments.

Bob is a former adjunct professor of Commercial Law at Hawaii Pacific University and a frequent speaker on commercial real estate topics. Bob currently manages a diversified portfolio of commercial real estate investments in Hawaii and the U. S. mainland.
